He was preceded in death by parents, his first wife Janice Freyermuth Runkle, daughter and son-in-law Penny (Dave) Brown, grandson Gregory Runkle II, sisters Edna Johnson, Louise Massie, Mary Maclean, brothers David and Howard. in Columbus, then later was a partner in Runkle Construction. He had worked for a number of years for David Davies Packing Co. Ralph grew up in the Ashville area and attended Walnut School. He was born on in Ashville, Ohio to the late David Andrew and Elma Beulah (Miller) Runkle. Runkle, 89, of Columbus, passed away on Saturday, Januat Riverside Methodist Hospital.
